Conservation of Energy

Hahahaha. Well, today will be the last day I will be ‘gambling’ and guess what. I lost exactly 48 chips. Aiya! The equation is so true. Quite scary! Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

Daniel. Oh Daniel. He loves the game too much now. :)

Oh yea, we were watching the Liverpool and Chelsea match. Poor Chelsea.

Daniel – the shuffler. He is a pro in cards though.

You know I might have found another long lost relative this time. Hahahahahahaha.

It has been great fun for the past week but now I have to get serious. One more month till I need to hand in my report and get back to London.

May 1st II

After the demonstration, we(Muk Chen and family, Daniel and me) headed off to see the old fortress of Trondheim. This fortress was built to protect Trondheim from the invading Germans I think. But anyway, it was quite scenic.
My campus – Gløshaugen.

The fortress.

The fortress facing downtown. The church is at a distance.

No idea where but very pretty with all the houses on the hills.

The Alcatraz of Trondheim. Oh yea, it was around there I fished.

Long live Norway!

I wished I could fire some!

Muahahaha. But not as pretty as Siew Ping’s one.

Daniel and me.

All in all, I definitely had a fun time going around Trondheim. Thanks Muk Chen for ferrying me around and Daniel for being the tourist. Man, do I look and sound like the tourist instead. :) Anyway, I know I wouldn’t have gone to these places at any point of time.

May 1st

A new post for the month. So, it’s a holiday for most of the world because today is Labour Day. I was suppose to sleep in but decided to go to town to experience a demonstration. Yes I know. Norwegians though are peaceful people, they do demonstrate.

Well, it’s more like the unions just march down to town and voice out to the government what can be done and so on. Not your typical demonstration with tonnes of police and cocktail bombs. It was more like a parade.

Before the march. The church where the King of Norway gets coronated.

The first marching band.

The Scientist Union.

Teddy Bear!

The Hospital Union.

Even babies go to demonstrate.

The mothers demanding more funds.

And Goths. No idea why.

Don’t worry. I didn’t go support anything. I’m not too interested in politics anyway. :)

Food and Gamble

Tonight’s meal was cool. We had tonnes of Cod(obviously from our fishing trip). Also, we had a bit of Western meal(cooked by Daniel. Scrumptious!). I do apologise for not taking any pictures. We gobbled everything. No time to take my camera out. But we had 2 types times of steamboat; the normal fish stock and the other was Szechuan style steamboat. A bit spicy but super yummy.

Then came my favourite past time. For the past 3 days, I have been gambling(without money of course). We played ‘Chor Tai Di’. I was quite surprised that Daniel was very excited to get the game started. Oh well, he said it was better than poker any time. :)

Anyway on the first day, I lost quite badly about 25 chips. Ah ha, that changed around today. I won about 48 chips. Quite an accomplishment I have to admit. I was down to -20 initially(initial capital of 50 each) but picked up after midnight. Yea yea. Nothing exciting there but still. It is always fun to win.

But of course, the morale of the story is not to gamble at all. It will never ever benefit you in the long run. It will drain your money and everything out of you. So, just be careful.

By Popular Demand

Well due to popular demand (well more of complaints), I decided to write on snow again after coming back from University. This time, there were quite a few people passing by me and kept looking at me thinking about this sua ku that hasn’t seen snow before. Man you see, the things I do for my juniors. Aiseh. Hahaha.

Anyway, here are the better versions of the names in the snow. The snow was perfect. Not too hard yet not too soft to write.

Meow meow. The so-called cat from Birmingham.

This one should be much better than the Cindy. Told you that Syn-In was a better name.

Ping Pong. I added a big dot to give it an effect. Hmmmmm. May be not.

Ahhhhh. Finally, I remembered about Tock and gave him one big name. I hope you like it Tock.

Little bro. You know who you are. Eh, where have you been leh? I want to pass something to you la. Quite special I think.

And this one, I really had no idea. But it looks like someone I know. :)

Oh yea, those mentioned above, your names are all along the pathway to my hall. Oh well, I suppose you can be famous for a little while since the snow is going to melt soon.

For The First Time

This shows that I’m extremely bored on a Sunday afternoon and I have nothing better else to do. So, I’m going to give blogging a try and hey, who knows? I might be an addict like you guys out there. Well, of course I have to give thanks to Ping Ping for persuading me to give it a try too.

So to start off with this blog, I’m going to post up some pictures what happened this morning.

When I drew my curtains, I saw the entire area white. I was like ‘Oh my. It is snowing again.’ It was kinda surprising because it is quite late in winter to be snowing. Oh well, I like snow, so it was fantastic. And as I went out to use the washroom, something else greeted me in the kitchen.

I couldn’t resist taking a picture of it. I was quite sure it wasn’t there at 3.30 a.m. It must be from my drunken housemate who forgot his keys to his room. I still remember those days when I was like 5-6 years old seeing those cartoons and glued to the TV. The good old times.

Anyway, the day started rather slowly and somehow or another, Ping Ping and Meow asked me to go out and take pictures since it was snowing quite heavily. Not to mention, Heng Kai ffked at that time so, I decided to get some pictures. Ya, you better watch out Heng Kai. :D

I wrote some names in the snow but it was too soft to write in it. I did my best to get some nice ones. I hope you guys like it(those in the snow).

Ping Pong!!!

Even though he deserted me, but oh well I couldn’t resist writing his name.

Sorry ah Cindy, your name a bit cacated. Hard to write.

And Jo Jo. I wanted to do ‘Meow’ but somehow it turned out cacat too.

And more pictures of the student accommodation I’m living in. I love it when everything goes white.

Moholt blocks from 1-14.

I’m sure you can notice why I took this picture. Why is it weird to see a black strip in the walkway when you see everywhere is white?

My room is somewhere there la.

You gotta love this country where you can just ski everywhere.

Some berry in the snow.

Last but not least, this is my name. CCC – Chee Cheng Chun.
